The JCL-01 Formaldehyde Detector is a convenient tool for detecting formaldehyde levels, designed specifically for home, office, and newly renovated environments. It employs the phenol reagent colorimetric method, which involves a chemical reaction that causes formaldehyde to react with the reagent and produce a color change. This allows for the formaldehyde concentration to be read directly from a color chart. The detector requires no complex instruments and operates in just 2 hours. With a detection limit of 0.1 mg/m³ and a detection range of 0.0-1.0 mg/m³, it offers a measurement accuracy of up to 10%. The disposable reagent kit design makes it easy to use, and the results can be read on-site using a color chart.
