English Introduction
The German K.K (KrautKramer) DM4DL Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a high-performance, portable thickness measurement instrument widely used in industrial inspection fields. The device is highly favored for its compact and lightweight design as well as its outstanding performance.
The core strength of the DM4DL lies in its unique DUAL-MULTI mode, which allows direct measurement of the net thickness of materials even when there is a coating on the surface, eliminating the need to remove the coating and significantly improving inspection efficiency. In addition, the instrument features automatic probe recognition and can automatically correct the V-path and zero position to ensure accurate measurement results.
In terms of data management, the DM4DL is equipped with a data recorder that can store up to 5,390 measurement data points and can be connected to a printer or computer via an RS232 interface for convenient data transfer and analysis. Its 4-digit LCD backlight display can clearly show measurement values under various lighting conditions, with a resolution of 0.01mm for thicknesses less than 99.99mm and 0.1mm for thicknesses greater than 99.99mm.
The DM4DL is suitable for a variety of materials and applications, including pipelines, pressure vessels, gas cylinders, storage tanks, chemical processing containers, material handling systems, pumps, bridges, ship hulls, cranes, shipbuilding equipment, and structural steel projects. Its measurement range is 0.6–300mm (for steel), with a sound velocity range of 1000–9999m/s, and it can operate stably in environments ranging from -10℃ to 50℃.
