The BK836A is a 3½-digit multifunction digital multimeter that is robust and easy to operate. It is capable of measuring various electrical parameters, including direct current (DC) voltage, alternating current (AC) voltage, DC current, resistance, as well as conducting diode and transistor hFE tests.

For DC voltage measurement, the BK836A has a range of 2V, 20V, 200V, and 600V, with a resolution of 1mV and an accuracy of ±(0.5% reading + 1 digit), and an input impedance of 10MΩ.
