The LJ2L-15G-4/114 is an inductive proximity switch consisting of three main components: an oscillator, switching circuit, and amplified output circuit. Its operating principle involves the oscillator generating an alternating magnetic field. When a metal target approaches this field within the sensing range, eddy currents induced in the metal cause oscillation attenuation until cessation. This change is processed by the amplification circuit into a switching signal, enabling non-contact detection. The device features an epoxy-filled ABS housing with IP-rated protection against water, corrosion, and vibration. With a 15mm sensing range and response frequency exceeding 200Hz, it s suitable for position detection and counting applications in industries including machinery, textiles, and metallurgy. The embedded design, where the sensing head is fully enclosed in metal threading, makes it ideal for applications requiring flush mounting.
