The Taiwan-made BARKLEYS BK8113 Coating Thickness Gauge/BK-8113 is a portable instrument designed for measuring the thickness of coatings or platings on ferrous metal surfaces. With a pistol-shaped body, it is lightweight and operable with one hand, making it ideal for industrial applications such as automotive manufacturing and metal processing.
The gauge offers a measuring range of 0 to 1000μm (or 0 to 40.0 mils) with a resolution of 0.1mils/1μm. It features a 3½-digit LCD with backlight for clear visibility in low-light conditions. The device automatically powers off after 15 seconds of inactivity to conserve energy. Its compact dimensions (148mm×105mm×42mm) ensure easy portability.
