The LJ2-15G/224 proximity sensor (Model LJ215G224) is an industrial-grade inductive proximity switch designed for non-contact detection of metallic objects. Operating on eddy current principle, it generates an oscillating electromagnetic field through built-in oscillator circuitry. When a metal target enters its 15mm sensing range, the field disturbance triggers a switching response. The device features epoxy-encapsulated rectangular housing with IP6 protection rating, ensuring reliable operation in dusty or vibrating environments.
