The DT-1309 is a portable digital photometer featuring a robust yet compact design for convenient light intensity measurement in Lux/Foot-candle units. Equipped with a silicon photodiode detector and spectral response filter, it provides accurate readings with angular compensation for varied light sources. The device offers a wide measuring range up to 400,000 Lux/Fc with auto-ranging capability, complemented by a 40-segment analog bar graph and backlit LCD display. Key functionalities include real-time data sampling (1.5 times/sec), relative measurement mode, peak value capture for pulses above 10μs, and automatic parameter adjustment for non-standard light sources. The integrated USB port facilitates data transfer to computers for further analysis. Designed for versatility, it operates on a 9V battery within 0-40℃ temperature range and is suitable for applications including office lighting assessment, library illumination monitoring, and horticultural light measurement.
