The American IST IQ-250 portable single-gas detector is a high-performance and reliable gas detection device suitable for a variety of industrial and environmental monitoring scenarios. This device can detect any of over 150 types of toxic or combustible gases and is widely used in industries such as chemical, petroleum, natural gas, and environmental protection.
The IQ-250 features a solid-state or electrochemical sensor with a lifespan of over 10 years, ensuring long-term stable operation. It is equipped with an external probe that uses a diffusion sampling method. The probe’s flexible cable is approximately 0.6 meters long, allowing for versatile detection in different environments. The device also has a 3-digit LED digital display that clearly shows gas concentration levels and includes both visual and audible alarm functions. The low and high alarm points can be adjusted according to user requirements.
The device operates on four AA alkaline batteries or an AC adapter/charger, with optional nickel-cadmium rechargeable batteries. Alkaline batteries can support up to 14 hours of continuous operation, while nickel-cadmium batteries can support 8 hours.
